Care & Use Guide

Simple tools work best when they are used on the right surface and cleaned between jobs. Use this guide with the instructions on each product page.

Before first use

  • Inspect the item for transit damage and confirm all parts are present.
  • Read the product description, dimensions, material notes and warnings.
  • Test brushes, adhesives and silicone tools on a small hidden area first.
  • Keep packaging until you know the item suits your intended use.

Brushes and scrubbers

Use light pressure first. Stiff bristles can mark soft finishes, painted surfaces, suede and delicate leather. Remove loose grit before scrubbing so particles do not scratch the surface. Rinse washable brush heads after use and let them air-dry completely.

Drain catchers and silicone items

Check the listed dimensions against your drain or sink before ordering. Clean the surface and the catcher regularly so water can pass freely. Keep silicone items away from open flames and direct high heat. Replace an item if it becomes torn or no longer sits securely.

Adhesive organizers

Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Press firmly and allow the adhesive to bond before adding weight. Humidity, cold temperatures and textured materials can reduce adhesion. In a vehicle, keep organizers away from airbags, pedals, controls, vents and the driver’s line of sight.

Fabric and lint-care tools

Test on an inside seam before wider use. Work gently in one direction and avoid loose knits, embroidery, sequins or damaged fabric. Remove collected fibres after use and store the tool dry.

Travel organizers

Do not overfill zips or seams. Distribute weight across packing cubes and organizers, and check airline size and weight rules before travel. Air out textile items after a trip and spot-clean according to the material.

Cleaning and storage

Unless a product page says otherwise, clean with mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry fully before storage. Avoid harsh solvents, bleach and abrasive cleaners. Store small parts away from children and pets.
